Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the public perception of small-scale cattle farming waste (a case study in Payacut Village, Peusangan District, Bireuen Regency). The research method is descriptive qualitative. The samples taken are people who live within 250 meters from the location of the farm. The total sample is 26 people. Data obtained by interview using a questionnaire. Data analysis was carried out descriptively using a frequency distribution table based on the scoring of each question. The results showed that the public's perception of cattle waste was in the disturbed category. Regarding the presence of waste 77.8%, 39.1% of the smell/aroma generated and 39.1% of the environment people feel disturbed. As for water pollution and causing an unpleasant aroma, 42.2% felt very disturbed
