Efforts to increase the population of beef cattle are carried out by the Indonesian government in all provinces and districts that are centers of cattle and buffalo in order to achieve an increase in domestic meat sufficiency in 2026. The Special Efforts for Obligatory Breeding Cattle (Upsus Siwab) are a benchmark for the success of the Ministry of Agriculture's strategic program by involving farmers and officers in the field. Maluku Province, especially Buru Regency, is one of the regencies that is a center for cattle in Maluku with a population that continues to increase every year. The methodology used is survey and interview methods. Primary and secondary data were analyzed descriptively.. The results showed the average success of the implementation for the 3 years period 2018-2020 reaching 113.8% for the implementation of IB, Pregnancy Examination (PKb) reaching 153.73% and Calf Births reaching 146.77%, all above 100 percent. This illustrates that Buru district, instead of limited infrastructure and human resources, is able to demonstrate its ability to carry out the UPSUS SIWAB program well and successfully. The same thing can be seen from the increase in the cattle population from 2018 to 2021
